Applications of fluoxetine 20 mg hard capsules
The preparation contains fluoxetine and is an antidepressant. It belongs to the group of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).This medicine is used to treat the following diseases:
adult
Major depressive episodes
OCD
Bulimia: as a complement of psychotherapy / for the reduction of binge eating and self-induced vomiting
Children and adolescents aged 8 years:
Moderate to severe major depressive episodes, if depression after 4 - 6 sessions does not respond to psychological therapy. The drug should be given to a child or young person with moderate to severe major depression only in combination with a concurrent psychological therapy.
Absolute contraindications of fluoxetine 20 mg hard capsules
