How does the funding?
The active ingredient diclofenac belongs to the analgesics group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It inhibits the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers), thereby exerting anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic. The main area of application is thus pain associated with rheumatic diseases. Diclofenac is produced mainly in the liver and excreted mainly via the urine.
In what applications the product is used?
Pain and inflammation in rheumatic diseases such. As rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis ankylokans (ankylosing spondylitis), osteoarthritis
Posttraumatic painful inflammation, such as after sprains
Painful spinal syndromes
extra-articular rheumatism
acute attacks of gout
Pain and inflammation or swelling after surgery or injury
Painful, inflammatory conditions in gynecological diseases and also in the ENT field
Primary dysmenorrhea (severe menstrual pain)
How the product will be applied?
best unchewed with liquid before meals, do not share. The dosage is adjusted to the disease individually.
Adults: recommended starting dose (Ersteinname): 100-150 mg / day.
In primary dysmenorrhoea should the dose be individualized and is 50-150 mg daily.
When should the funds not be used?
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation
Ulcers and bleeding in the gastrointestinal area
In patients with hypersensitivity reactions (asthma, skin wheals) to acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin, Aspro) or other similar drugs (NSAIDs) such as e.g .: Seractil (dexibuprofen)
Patients with severe coagulation disorders, hematopoietic disorders and porphyria (metabolic disease)
heart disease
Bleeding in the gastrointestinal area due to previous therapy with NSAIDs
cerebrovascular haemorrhage
Acute severe bleeding
Severe liver and renal insufficiency
Can the means applied by pregnant and lactating women?
During the first 6 months of pregnancy Voltaren should be employed only for compelling reasons and in the lowest dose. In the last third of pregnancy Voltaren should not be used because there may be tocolysis and danger to the child. Since the active ingredient diclofenac is excreted in human breast milk, breast-feeding during taking Voltaren not recommended or discontinue the drug.
What side effects may occur?
The most common side effects are:
Peptic ulcers, perforations or bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract

Liver dysfunction
Interactions are known with the following substances:
Strong CYP2C9 inhibitors such as sulfinpyrazone and voriconazole
Lithium, digoxin (digitalis), phenytoin
Potassium-sparing diuretics (water pills), cyclosporin, tacrolimus or trimethoprim
T-ASS, Aspirin Protect: increased inhibition of platelet
Methotrexate: no simultaneous intake in 24 Hours
Blood pressure lowering drugs, diuretics
Corticosteroids, other NSAIDs, aspirin
Quinolone antibiotics
Colestipol and cholestyramine
Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors
antidiabetics
medicinal preparations containing probenecid or sulfinpyrazone
warnings
Caution in elderly patients and patients with:
- Asthma, chronic respiratory diseases or allergic rhinitis,
- Functional limitations of heart, kidney or liver,
- Starkem hypertension,
- Pre-existing conditions, such as gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding ??,
- Inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease
